When using with the included Zenith 2 tank you have a choice of compatible Z coils to choose from. The optional Intelligent user modes mean that you can play around with the device until your heart’s content. Auto priming refresh technology is designed to increase flavour and coil life. When you want to optimise wicking, extend the life of your coil and boost those fresh flavours.

FO mode is automatically enabled with the Z80 which delivers a noticeable improvement to the flavour of your e-liquid. If you want to (it’s not necessary) adjust the frequency Innokin recommends using between 51-100 for Mouth to Lung vaping and 20-50 for Direct to Lung vaping.

The Z80 is powered by a single 18650 vape battery which can be charged externally (and sold separately) or by the USB-C charger.

Our Verdict

We love this device for intermediate vapers, as always Innokin take the intelligent technology and deliver on the ergonomics. It’s a simple and sleek design, with a nice screen display which is super easy to get to grips with. The additional features are a nice touch and although the auto priming requires a manual boost you can tell the difference in the coils performance.

If you are looking for a super powerful Sub-Ohm with amazing clouds to impress this is not the device for you. With the current Zenith 2 tank you will get a decent Restricted Direct to Lung vape but the Z coils are not designed for super low resistance.

Best E-liquids to use with the Z80

The Zenith II tank can be used with both VG:PG 50:50 e-liquid and high VG e-liquid and works with Innokin Z Coils.

• High VG e-liquid: Use 0.3Ω, 0.48Ω or 0.5Ω Z coils
• 50:50 or high PG e-liquid: Use 0.8Ω, 1.0Ω, 1.2Ω or 1.6Ω Z coils

Is the Coolfire Z80 compatible with other tanks and coils?

The 510 connection means that you can use other tanks and coils with the mod, but the Zenith 2 does have two drip tip options, adjustable airflow and a wide range of coils to customise.
